Ivory and Gold

Hello friends

A gold and ivory card today.
This is truly layered!
I started with Matting Basics 6 x 6 and then added a mixture of
Framed Labels 46 and Scalloped Labels 46.

The flower in the middle is from Marisa's Bouquet...of course!
It's not truly my style of card but occasionally nice to do something different.

Both Framed Labels 46 and Scalloped Labels 46 are available from your
Spellbinders retailer.

Excited today....off to London for an afternoon tea and not just any
afternoon tea - a Charlie and the Chocolate Factory themed one!
Elliott and I are meeting my writer friend Carole Matthews so it's
a very special treat.  Photos to follow I'm sure.

Keep in the shade today if you can - very hot already here in the South East.

Take care friends.

Is this my new favourite?

Hello friends

Today featuring Spellbinders Labels Fifty Six.
For a very very long time Labels Four has been my all time favourite
but this one is competing!  I like the stylish points and yet the bracket look too..
if that makes sense!

My card using three of the sizes simply layered with ribbon,
a couple of leaves (Marisa's Bouquet) and Blooms One.

Switch the colours to greys, browns or blacks and opt for a heart or star =
man's card!

I do hope your weekend is going well, I had a great day demoing yesterday
in Lyndhurst - thank you to everyone who came along despite the torrential rain!
I'm back in my cabin today crafting...got something new coming your way!
Keep tuned.
Take care friends.

Friday Die Day

Hello friends
For this Friday Die Day I am featuring Spellbinders Pinked Posies.
A two piece die set designed by Tammy Tutterow.
The approximate measurements are:
Flower Small: 1.85 x 1.85 in
Flower Large: 2.75 x 2.75 in
This is how they look cut/embossed with silver mirror card.

I've chosen to make a card, further die cuts of Pinked Posies in black card.
Also used 5 x 7 Matting Basics
with Kaisercraft - Black and White Timeless Collection

I layered up the Pink Posies and offset them when assembling them.
Card simply constructed with matting and patterned paper.

A card where the flower is a statement.

Pinked Posies is available now to purchase from your Spellbinders retailer.
Also check out all the other beautiful Tammy Tutterow designs.

Tomorrow I'm returning to demo at Emerald Crafts in Lyndhurst.
I especially love the New Forest, lots of happy childhood holiday memories.
If you live that way please call into the shop to say hello,
it's an amazing crafty haven - stocked to the rafters with goodies.

Take care friends - have a lovely weekend.

Manly Tag

Hello friends

A manly tag today!
I featured this on the Scrapbook Adhesives blog last week,
all the step by step details are here.

I kept it very simple with kraft, naturals and black.

And added a little envelope on the reverse for gift cards/lottery tickets/cash.

Hope your week has started well, the rain was sort of welcome yesterday
but pleased to see the sun making an appearance and Bella was definitely happy.
This is her 'I'm very tired and need to sleep' pose!

Take care friends.

Friday Die Day

Hello friends

This week I'm featuring the very lovely Florence Medallion,
a die from the Spellbinders Renaissance line designed by Stacey Caron.
A four piece die set and these are the approximate measurements.

1: 1.15 x 1.15 in
2: 2.20 x 2.20 in
3: 3.20 x 3.20 in
4: 4.30 x 4.30 in

This is how they look cut/embossed.

I've chosen to emboss only using the largest die on my white card front.

Stamped a sentiment to the bottom right corner and applied the very
attractive lattice die cut.

For embellishment - Blooms One, a real favourite and some leaves.

My finished card, predominantly white with a shot of red and green.

Florence Medallion is available to purchase from your Spellbinders retailer.

Have a super weekend everyone,
I still haven't got round to doing my garden!

Take care friends.
