Jubilee Tags

Hello friends

Today sharing a card that I featured on Create and Craft.
It details a very simple technique where you inset the die cut.
I've chosen to use Jubilee Tags from the Renaissance Collection.
This is a set of three tags.

Very handy that you also have the shaped dies for the middles of the tags.

Very easy, use the die on the patterned paper first to create the aperture,
raise that up with foam tape.

Die cut the tag with gold foil card and inset into the aperture.
Works with lots of dies but thought this Jubilee Tag looked very special.
Teamed it with Blooms One for a dash of red!

Take care friends - enjoy your Sunday.

Friday Die Day

Hello friends

This week I'm sharing with you one of the Spellbinders dies designed
The approximate measurements are:

Envelope: 3.50 x 5.40 in
Insert: 2.25 x 1.75 in

This is how it looks cut/embossed.

The embossing gives you the fold lines.

Assembled, such a pretty decorative edge.

My white card base - 6 x 6 Matting Basics, kraft card and patterned paper-
scrap box find!

The extras: twine wrapped around the envelope, Sprigs, little flowers and a stamped tag.

The finished card - just a few gemstones added.

Deco Edge Envelope is available to purchase from retailers now
along with other envelope designs -
Notched Mini Envelope, Pointed Mini Envelope
and Pocket designs too.

Wishing you all a lovely weekend, I'm toying with the idea of gardening..
I don't think I'll dwell on that thought too long though!

Take care friends.

Milan Medallion

Hello friends

Today it's Milan Medallion.
Quickly reverting to Summer after yesterday's festive outburst!

This is a gorgeous three piece die set from the Renaissance collection.

The approximate measurements are:

1: 1.60 x 1.60 in
2: 3.85 x 3.85 in
3: 5.80 x 5.80 in

I've matted kraft and patterned paper onto my card base.
I then used die number 3 for the background and snipped to slide the
ribbon through.  Layered onto that is die number 2 and I used a square
placed diagonally for the stamped sentiment.

Flowers are Marisa's Bouquet, still visit those often!

Hope you are all having a good week, I'm taking things a little slower
this week, catching up with paperwork...not so much fun!

Take care friends.

Festive!

Hello friends

It's about to happen...!
My first Christmas card and yes I'm so sorry - I know it's July!
But I don't think I'm alone, I've been chatting to lots of crafty people
and they've already made a start on Christmas so I don't feel quite so bad.

My card features Label 46 Decorative Accent from the
Renaissance Collection.

The approximate die measurements:

Frame: 5.80 x 5.80 in
Insert: 3.10 x 3.10 in
Accent: 1.90 x 1.90 in

I chose to trim the die cut for a different look.
I also used some gold mirror card to to shadow the middle die cut.

A Layered Poinsettia and a couple of leaves for the middle decoration.

Labels 46 Decorative Accent is available to purchase from your
Spellbinders retailer, this Renaissance Jubilee collection is really quite stunning!

Take care friends, I'll be back with more!

Ravenna With Thanks

Hello friends

I'm back home after a hectic and enjoyable few days away,
even had a lay-in this morning ...until 8am!

Had a lovely time at Create and Craft on Friday and met some
lovely ladies at the demo at Samuel Taylors in Brighouse, Halifax.
The more I visit North the more I love it there,
I wonder if I could ever pass as a Yorkshire girl!

Today sharing one of the cards I made for TV,
it is Ravenna, a three piece die set measuring approximately

1: 3.00 x 1.50 in
2: 2.00 x 1.75 in
3: 4.75 x 6.75 in
My design is a combination of ivory and kraft card.
I've really let the dies do all the work.

Tiny addition of Sprigs and little flowers with gemstones for a touch of colour.
Used the smallest die cut (No.1) for the stamped sentiment.

This is one of Stacey's designs from her Renaissance Jubilee collection
and available to purchase from your Spellbinders retailer now.

Take care friends - I'm back tomorrow with more designs.

Friday Die Day

Hello friends

This week for Friday Die Day I'm featuring Tuscany Strip -
one of the new Spellbinders Renaissance dies designed by Stacey Caron.

It's a one piece die set and the approximate measurement is:
2.30 x 6.50 in

This is how it looks cut/embossed.

For my card I've chosen to slice the die cut completely down the middle.

I then found some pretty paper, layered onto a black card strip and positioned
this over the die cuts - basically widening the die cut with a patterned strip!

Trimmed and placed vertically on my card front.

My decorative die cuts - Blooms One, stamped tag and foliage.

The finished card, simple and striking.

Wishing you all a wonderful weekend.
I will be in Brighouse, Halifax tomorrow demoing at Samuel Taylors -
if you live that way please pop along and say hello.
Take care friends.

It's a Hop with Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L and MFT

Hello friends

Today I'm taking part in a blog hop with Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L
and My Favorite Things.

If you've found your way here from the Scrapbook Adhesives blog then
a warm welcome to you.

My project is a collection of tags using MFT's wonderful stamps -
Chalkboard Greetings.

By adding Photo Corners - Kraft, you can make nice little frames.

I cut various papers from the Dots and Strips Neutral paper pad.

Layered onto my tag using E-Z Runner.

Crafty Foam Tape...honestly couldn't live without it!

My three finished tags.
All similar but different!

Take care friends and please pop over to the blog hop here
to view the other projects too.

Labels 56 Decorative Element Invitation

Hello friends

I think Summer has arrived!
In light of this I thought I would share a summery invitation card
made with Stacey's design - Labels 56 Decorative Element.

This is a set from the Rennaisance Jubilee Collection.

I printed out the wording onto the card and die cut around it.
My backing paper is Anna Griffin.

The flowers are Floral Berry Accents...I think this set could be taking over
from Marisa's Bouquet!

I've got lots of projects to show you from this Renaissance Jubilee Collection
over the next little while so please pop back.

All the dies mentioned are available now to purchase from your
Spellbinders retailer.

Stay in the shade everyone and take care!
