Bella...in miniature!

Hello friends

Completely digressing from papercraft today
but sharing with you a different sort of craft -
clay miniatures.
I recently commissioned a very talented lady to create a clay
miniature of Bella.
By sending an assortment of photos she moulded, sculpted and
shaped the most amazing replica.

Work in progress...
each curl of fur is individually attached.

The finished piece just before she was 'baked'.

The wonderful end result pride of place on my mantelpiece.
Colouring is so detailed and accurate.

She also captured Bella's ears - she tends to have one up and one down!

She has got her exact look, eyes are perfect
even down to the whispy fur that tends to grow over her eyes.

And the lady herself...

If you have a pooch that you would like to see recreated as a
clay miniature you can contact the designer Teresa through Facebook -
click here to take you straight to her page.
She has lots of experience in recreating many breeds of dogs.

Take care friends - back to papercraft next time!

  4. Hi Christine, This clay miniature is fabulous, she has captured Bella beautifully, and how impressive how she has all Bella's curls, it must have taken her ages to make this.
