Friday Die Day

Hello friends

This week for Friday Die Day I'm featuring Tuscany Strip -
one of the new Spellbinders Renaissance dies designed by Stacey Caron.

It's a one piece die set and the approximate measurement is:
2.30 x 6.50 in

This is how it looks cut/embossed.

For my card I've chosen to slice the die cut completely down the middle.

I then found some pretty paper, layered onto a black card strip and positioned
this over the die cuts - basically widening the die cut with a patterned strip!

Trimmed and placed vertically on my card front.

My decorative die cuts - Blooms One, stamped tag and foliage.

The finished card, simple and striking.

Wishing you all a wonderful weekend.
I will be in Brighouse, Halifax tomorrow demoing at Samuel Taylors -
if you live that way please pop along and say hello.
Take care friends.

  1. Stunning card and die Christine. The die on its own would make a lovely bangle bracelet if you have small wrists xx hazel

  11. Hello Christine
This is a lovely card. I was admiring it this morning on the TV. It was great to see you back on our TV screens, it certainly has been a very long time and your quiet authority in die cutting has been missed. Several die sets fell into my basket and I am impatiently waiting for the email to say they are on their way to me.
I am sorry my comments have been very few and far between recently. I have had a number of health issues but am now begining to feel like myself once again.
Have a safe journey upto Yorkshire tomorrow.
    Take care
    Lesley

  12. Hi Christine,
I'm only now watching the first of your hours on C&C and although you gave the size of this die, it's not until you actually see it that you can appreciate just how big it is. The card looked great on screen as well. I need to tell you off now. Of course, watching the show I just HAD to check everything out on the web site and I've ended up buying the Roman Trellis...AND...Botanical Labels 54 and 55 bundle!!! Thanks goodness the bundle is on flexi is all I can say lol. Seriously though, I'm really looking forward to their arrival so that I can play :)
