Friday Die Day

Hello friends

This week for Friday Die Day I'm featuring Pom Pom Posies.
This is a die set designed by Tammy Tutterow for Spellbinders.
Within the set there are three flower shapes and two leaf designs.
The approximate measurements are as follows:

Leaves: 2.10 x 2.50 in
Leaf: 1.00 x 1.65 in
Flower 1: 1.00 x 1.00 in
Flower 2: 1.50 x 1.50 in
Flower 3: 2.00 x 2.00 in

This is how they look cut/embossed.

I used the leaf dies and die cut them from ivory card.

Instead of spritzing Glimmer Mist, I chose to use a paintbrush for a
watercolour look.

From linen fabric I die cut all three flower shapes.

Spritzed those with Glimmer Mist and put a gemstone brad through the middle.
Scrunched the flower for dimension.

It's a kraft tag stamped with a script font.
Small piece of hessian placed across and a photo - my Mum and Dad,
love the cardi!

Added the leaves, flower, tiny charm and typed out a message using
font Gabriola and size 14.

A couple of close up pics.

I adore the leaves from this die set and I know they will be
popping up on other projects.

Pom Pom Posies is available now from your Spellbinders retailer.

Tomorrow I'm in Peterborough, Sir Stampalot.
I will be doing a full day demo.  There's going to be free refreshments
and bargains so if you live nearby please come and say hello.

Take care friends, have a lovely weekend.

  4. Hi Christine sorry I've been missing but will be a bit intermittent for the next few months as the builders have started on an extension to my bungalow so things are a bit disorganised! Hampstead Heath looks amazing somewhere to put on the list for a visit. This set of dies look interesting and I love the tag you have made. Have a good weekend best wishes Jackie x
