Hello friends
Giving you a little break from Christmas today and revisiting some dies
that I really like - the Card Creator dies.
This is Glass Effects, I've chosen to die cut it in white and place
on a white card base. I then ran it through again with some gingham
patterned paper and reinserted some pieces.
Added Blooms One and a little bit of Sprigs.
These are what I call my 'comfort cards' - I enjoy working on the background
and adding a simple flower and foliage.
So how is that boy of mine doing?
I see 'his blog' is more popular than mine in the ranking right now! ;)
I suspect a little competition may arise between us...
Between you and me, he's been an absolute star, embracing his new role,
coming up with ideas and it's definitely given me more time to create.
I understand he's just uploaded some new pre-order dies -
the alphabets, numbers and sentiments one are bound to be a big hit.
Other stuff...for those of you who did not catch this on Facebook...
Bella v. Pigeon
That pigeon knows it's safe there and appears to enjoy tormenting Bella!
So I think I've got all my blog organised now, but please shout if there's
anything missing. There's Bloglovin' button, follow me by email,
add me to your Google circle and more!
No escape from me then... :)
Big thanks to all of you who have followed me,
re-routed etc - really appreciate it.

Take care friends and I hope your week is going well.
Of course I'll follow you Christine once I'd found you. I don't know I go away on holiday and you and Elliot go all new look on me. Pleased to see you using a die I already have, a bit easier on the purse for which my husband is very grateful. Thanks Ann
ReplyDeleteMorning Christine, Wow, this is different, I love the paper piecing, it looks so effective.

ReplyDeleteHi Christine
ReplyDeleteWell what an unusual and beautiful card for us today, so clean and fresh , i love it ! { i think i may have mentioned this before ,i could do with someone opening a Die Library just like borrowing a book and taking it back } well it would easier on the wallet and my ever long wish list could go in the bin haha.
Your boy is doing just fine , giving you more time to create and a little competition is good.
Enjoy your day

Morning Christine,
ReplyDeleteLove ttodays card, so fresh looking.
Love the photo of Bella and the pigeon. It reminds me of that wonderful advert with the cat and bugie singing to one another. I love animal adverts.

ReplyDeleteGorgeous card today. An unusual background die - great for men's cards too.
Great photo of Bella and the pigeon. I have a squirrel who is my nemesis at the moment - he just won't leave my bird feeder alone!! I sympathise with Bella.
A little competition is healthy and I am sure Elliott will be enjoying this as much as you.
Enjoy your day
Lesley
