A Bargain Festive Heart

Hello friends

You can currently find me either weighed down by
Christmas shopping bags or buried under a mountain of gift wrap -
I'm definitely making a dent in my festive planning!

Today sharing a previous project using a bargain tree decoration
from The Range...89p!

Firstly I added a little bit of white paint and wiped it off with a piece of kitchen towel,
just to lighten it a little.
I then selected Classic Hearts and was delighted that the shape very much mirrored
the wooden heart.  The paper is Basic Grey and out of my odd box.

Next I opted for Snowflake Bliss and Layered Poinsettia.

The word 'Christmas' is die cut from Holiday Sentiments.

It was then just a case of assembling the snowflake, poinsettia and adding Sprigs.

It's definitely an adorned heart now!

A couple of close up shots.

Take care friends - I'm back soon.

  6. Hi Christine
Lovely idea. Transforms it into something far more Christmassy. Just missing some glitter perhaps? (Only joking"). Best wishes, Anne O

  10. Morning Christine, This ornament looks fabulous !! the heart die looks like it was 'made'for this ornament as the curves look in the same place. The embellishments finish this hanging ornament off beautifully. (Although, you have missed poking out one little 'bit' from one of the circles on the flowers, sorry, it jumped out at me hahaha)
Lots of love from Patricia xx

  13. I love this heart and went straight to the Range last year and bought some! I put them away safely as we were moving house, and only came across them last week, untouched still in their bag!
Thank you for the reminder Christine.
