Hello friends
What's this? Friday Die Day on a Saturday!?
When you have an unexpected stay in hospital things go a little awry.
I appear to a have a kidney stone and let's just say they
don't half hurt! I still have it, it wants to stay but at least I'm
back home now, I can sit at my desk for a little while
and get things back to normal(ish).
I'm very much hoping my stone and I part company soon!
This week I'm featuring Rise 'n Shine - one of the Little Red Wagon
dies designed by Debi Adams.
7 dies in the set and the approximate sizes are:
Small Star: 0.45 x 0.40 in. 1.1 x 1.0cm
Sun Face: 0.75 x 0.75 in. 2.0 x 2.0cm
Medium Star: 1.00 x 0.95 in. 2.5 x 2.4cm
Moon: 0.70 x 1.60 in. 1.8 x 4.0cm
Cloud: 2.00 x 1.30 in. 5.0 x 3.5cm
Sun Beams: 2.20 x 2.15 in. 5.6 x 5.5cm
Umbrella: 1.75 x 2.00 in. 4.4 x 5.0cm
ISun Face: 0.75 x 0.75 in. 2.0 x 2.0cm
Medium Star: 1.00 x 0.95 in. 2.5 x 2.4cm
Moon: 0.70 x 1.60 in. 1.8 x 4.0cm
Cloud: 2.00 x 1.30 in. 5.0 x 3.5cm
Sun Beams: 2.20 x 2.15 in. 5.6 x 5.5cm
Umbrella: 1.75 x 2.00 in. 4.4 x 5.0cm
This is how they look cut/embossed.
For my card design I chose to use the umbrella and cloud dies.
I die cut three of each and also the clouds from silver mirror card to shadow them.
Love the stitching detail around the edge of the clouds.
My 5 x 7 card base matted with dotty paper -
My Mind's Eye - All is Bright.
Red twine tied to the left hand side and a typed and die cut sentiment.
Each brolly adorned with a little flower (die set - Swallow and Heart).
My finished card - I moved the twine bow down to the bottom left
and added Classic Heart die cut.
I thought afterwards I could have added little gemstones for rain drops.
Rise 'n Shine is available on the website here and don't forget...
The free shipping ends tomorrow - Sunday, it has proved a great success
and kept Elliott wonderfully busy - thank you!
Take care friends - have a lovely weekend and please stop by tomorrow -
