Hello friends
This Friday Die Day I'm featuring Pinecones.
This is a two piece die set and the approximate sizes are:
Pinecone Large: 2.05 x 2.05 inches
Pinecone Small: 1.55 x 1.55 inches
This is how they look cut/embossed.
I've chosen to use the pokey tool end of my Tool n' One,
starting at the outer edge rolling them - a little like Spiral and Bitty Blossoms.
An aerial view of rolling!
Rolled and about to be stuck to the base.
I then chose to spritz them lightly with some bronze glimmer mist.
My card base, some scrap patterned paper,
berries from Stylized Flowers and a stamped sentiment.
My pinecones now added - it is possible to stretch these out more for
longer cones if you wish - I quite liked the cute diddy ones!
Added my favourite leaves of the moment!
Finished...
Some close up pics.
Hoping to add these little pinecones to a festive wreath project I keep
thinking about - let's hope I get to that before Christmas!
Pinecones are available on the website here
and those Stylized Flowers with gorgeous leaves can be found here.
This weekend I am going to be at The Artistic Stamper in Faversham,
it's my mini tree workshop and I've heard it is sold out so that's
wonderful news.
Also Faversham is not too far away from me - makes a change to
be quite local - I may even have a roast dinner on Sunday!
Take care friends.
