Hello friends
I hope you are all safe and well following the storm,
quite a lot of damage with fallen trees
and travel was definitely hampered with road closures.
I spent Easter at home and I've been particularly restrained with
eating chocolate...not sure how long that will last!
Today a 'Thanks' card, easy to do so perfect for batch making,
My base and mat is 6 x 6 Matting Basics and the the multiple
'Thanks' are Phrase Set One.
I wasn't sure at first if I liked the font but I really do now!
I've cut and kept the negative placing coloured card behind
raised up with Crafty Foam Tape.
The matching coloured flower is Blooms One and the leaves are
from Romantic Blooms One.
Sometimes it is the speedy simple makes that I like the most!
Wishing you all a good start to the week...always a bit confusing when
a Bank Holiday is thrown in!
Take care friends.
Beautiful card Christine xx hazel

ReplyDeleteHi,Christine,
ReplyDeleteLovely card today,I love the colours ,it is so effective.
Take care. x
Another great card which would work well with other sentiments too. I never use the aperture pieces but your card today shows what a brilliant card front they create.
ReplyDeleteWell done for showing restraint this weekend. I unfortunately wasn't and now my waistband feels a little snug, not a good feeling.
Enjoy your day
Lesley
Gorgeous card Christine, how lovely it looks using the negatives! Love the design and the colour blue you have chosen!
ReplyDeleteHope you are feeling much better, I'm sure the chocolate has helped!

ReplyDeleteLovely card. A great reminder to use the negative. I never think of it. Very clean and simple. Best wishes, Anne O
Lovely card Christine. Good idea to use the negative.
ReplyDeleteHi Christine, love this fresh and crisp looking card. Its pretty blue flower adds that extra pop of matching colour. x
ReplyDeleteHi, Christine
ReplyDeleteWhat a great card...sometimes simple is most definitely best. I love the shade of blue card you've used to back the cut-outs. I know I've got one of the Phrase sets but not sure if it's the one with 'Thanks' in it...I'll have to go and check it out and then perhaps I can play around and make a few. You never know when you'll need a thank-you card do you so it will be good to have some tucked away safely ready to use.
