Hello friends
Scheduling this post as I will be driving back from Oldham today.
Yay...the best time of the year finally feels like it is here - Spring!
When walking Bella I spotted some bluebells, they are later in these woods
this year.
Bella looking somewhat confused at my Springtime enthusiasm!
There's even a sprig of holly in this photo - talk about mixing the seasons!
Thinking of Springtime I thought I would share a definite Spring card.
This features Marisa's Bouquet (of course!)
Mini Envelope Three, 6 x 6 Matting Basics and Grate Effect.
So simple to do and still in my white phase!
Hope you are all having a good weekend and fitting in some crafting time.

Hi Christine, I hope your day was good yesterday.
ReplyDeleteI love bluebells, they take me back to my childhood when my Dad (bless him) used to take me for long walks in the woods. I put a few bluebell in my garden, but they haven't come up yet, but normally they are usually in the midst of my hardy geraniums which tend to 'take over' and I don't get to see much of the bluebells sadly.
I love your card, lovely and spring-like, Spring and Summer are definitely my favourite Seasons, I'm not an autumn/winter girlie haha.
We had a thick frost this morning but the sun is out now, although quite cold in the wind.
Lots of love from Patricia xx
Almost forgot !!!!!!!! Bella is looking as gorgeous as ever xx

Hi, Christine,
ReplyDeleteWell, here I am on Google Chrome again as IE just refuses to let me post on your blog for some reason. Anyway I love the card...I've never given mini envelopes too much thought in the past but now I can see just how much they enhance any card...I think I'll be adding some to my Spellbinders stash in the near future :).
Bella is a delight isn't she. I do love a clipped Yorkie...they look more like dogs that way lol. Can you tell I'm a big dog girl?!?! My present furry friend is the smallest I've had, she's a mini Schnauzer and along with my cat, who's almost as tall as the dog, they give me so much love and joy. I have to admit though that after seeing a couple of videos on Facebook with a corgi puppy...I could open up my heart to one of those...what do you all mean, I'm a bog softie?? lol. I hope you had a good time in Oldham and a safe drive home.

ReplyDeleteHello Christine
ReplyDeleteLovely spring photos and of Bella. The bluebells in my garden are still tightly closed, spring in the Northwest still hasn't sprung.

Beautiful card and photos. Have some lovely bluebells in my garden.
ReplyDeleteHi Christine.
ReplyDeleteLovely photos Thank you.
Take care and have fun Kitty.
Morning Christine, Monday!, just seen yesterday's blog. Really love the card, and must go down to the woods today. Bluebells are my favourite flower. A few years ago I was driving die
ReplyDeleteDown Wrotham Hill, from Meopham, and as I drove around a corner there was an explosion of blue in the woods on my right hand side, It took my breath away as I wasn't expecting it, and brought tears to my eyes. Every year I make a point of driving down there now, it's worth the trip just to see them. In my opinion anyway. X
Hi Christine love the little envelope and the background on your card.
ReplyDeleteThanks for the photo of the bluebells. Just one more walk through a wood full of bluebells is on my bucket list.
Hugs
