Hello friends
This week's Friday Die Day is Favourably Simple Gift Box
designed by Becca Feeken for her Amazing Paper Grace line with Spellbinders.
There are four dies in the set and the approximate measurements are below.
Box Body: 4.10 x 6.30 in
Side Closure: 2.10 x 4.30 in
Disc: 0.60 x 0.60 in
Tag: 1.70 x 0.80 in
This is how they look cut/embossed.
To create this project you cut the box body (largest die) twice.
Adhere the bottom tabs together to form the base.
You also cut the side closure die twice.
Fold along the lines.
Add one side closure die cut to each side of the box body to make one whole shape.
Yes that's my glue drying...I'm always impatient to take photos!
To decorate I wanted to place a strip of patterned paper so I used the die to
make sure the edges were a perfect cut and fit.
Adhered this in place and then went flowery!
I cut two tags and attached those with a mini peg - also acts as a closure.
Marisa's Bouquet for the flowers and Romantic Vines for the foliage.
Some more pics - a side view so you can see the box inside.
Really liking this die set and can see many uses,
I'm obviously calculating how many chocolates could fit inside!
Take care friends - I'm in Harwich in Essex tomorrow at Swan House Crafts.
Wishing you all a wonderful weekend.
