Goodie Bags, Fantastic Friends and Telly!

Hello friends

If you follow me on Facebook you will have seen that I
spent Sunday with my crafty friends in Milton Keynes.
We get together every month and I am 100% guilty of introducing them to craft,
I now honestly believe they have more stash than me!

We spoil each other with goodie bags and this month
I created very simple tags using kraft tags and Labels 56.
The leaves are from Romantic Blooms One and the flowers are from Homespun.

We got into the spirit of Christmas with festive jumpers and dined on turkey sandwiches,
Christmas cake, chocolate and satsumas (note the one healthy item!)

Today I'll be speed crafting in the cabin as I'm heading back to
Create and Craft tomorrow - I'll be doing shows at 10am, 2pm and 6pm -
it's a fantastic Sapphire offer...tune in if you can.

Take care friends.

3D Stamp - Poinsettia

Hello friends

I'm actually at my desk for 5 minutes or so to type a blog post!
It has been a busy few days, Create and Craft UK shows on
Wednesday, travelling to their London studios to do shows for
Create and Craft USA, drove back home last night and today
in Harwich doing workshops - hectic but a lot of fun.
Today marks the last of my demos and workshops for this year,
2017 (oh that sounds strange) will be bringing more.

The crafty offering today is a Spellbinders 3D stamp card -
Poinsettia - love this one!
I simply stamped three times and used Chameleon pens to
lightly colour.  Mounted onto a black mat and white card base.
Typed and die cut sentiment.

The 3D stamps are now available from your Spellbinders retailer.

Hope you are all having a good weekend, it has definitely turned nippy,
scraping the ice off my car this morning.
Now..have you started your Christmas shopping?
I haven't - it feels like it is creeping up very very quickly!

Take care friends.

Friday Die Day

Hello friends

It doesn't get much more festive than holly so this week
I'm featuring Jolly Holly - a Spellbinders Die D-Lite set.

The approximate measurements are:
Leaves: 0.90 x 1.90 in
Berries: 0.35 x 0.35 in
Berry Bunch: 0.85 x 0.90 in

This is how they look cut/embossed.

I chose to use white card and ink with distress inks.

My card base with MME papers - Mistletoe Magic
and matted using A2 Matting Basics.

Using Classic Ovals die cut twice I mounted layers of the holly
inked with different green tones.
Stamped and cut a small sentiment strip.

Placed this as my card topper and affixed some berries in place.

Jolly Holly is available to purchase from your Spellbinders retailer.

Take care friends, I'm going to be in Harwich tomorrow
teach two Spellbinders workshops - photos to follow.

Can you believe it...a month today it will be Christmas Day!
Best get my tree up.

Snow Forest

Hello friends

I will be heading to Create and Craft today, hopefully the M25 will be kind,
keeping everything crossed.
Shows with Becca Feeken will be at 3pm, 6pm and 9pm.
Becca has come up with some amazing designs and something
very innovative too!  I'll be sure to share projects with you when I can...

Talking of innovative, Spellbinders 3D stamps.
Today's card features Snow Forest - one of the real favourites -
in fact definitely my Mum's!

My card project is letting the stamp do all the work,
burlap background, stamped Snow Forest mounted onto a black mat.
Tiny bit of twine, snowflake (Create A Flake Six)
and typed and die cut sentiment.

3D Stamps are available from your Spellbinders retailers now.

Take care friends and watch out for lots of pics from the studio on Facebook.

It's a giveaway day!

Hello friends
Today it's a little bit of a special day in the Emberson household,
it is my birthday!
Personally I think it has come around way too quickly again!
To celebrate I thought it was high time for a
giveaway.
I've chosen the very lovely Create a Flake Six.

A gorgeous die set - 4 different snowflake dies
and the smallest one easily doubles as a flower.
This is a card I created a while back using 6 x 6 Matting Basics A and B,
Classic Squares and the smallest snowflake die.

Added in a flower from Marisa's Bouquet, the leaf is from Romantic Blooms One
and a stamped and hand cut tag.

Someone else was clearly confused as to whether it was a flower or a snowflake!

To be in with a chance of winning this die set just leave a comment on this blog post
and the winner will be announced next week.
Today I'm celebrating my birthday in Milton Keynes.
Travelling up to there for a roasty lunch with my writer friend Carole Matthews
and we are then on Radio Milton Keynes at 5pm - the Nancy Stevens show.
It is possible to listen online if you so wish... :) #paperhearts
Link is here.
Take care friends and I hope you are having a great weekend.
