Friday Die Day

Hello friends

This week's Friday Die Day features Hello Geo Heart,
a three piece die set designed by Debi Adams at Spellbinders.
The approximate measurements are: 
Hello: 2.40 x 1.15 in
Heart Pattern: 3.70 x 3.10 in
Heart: 3.45 x 4.05 in

This is how it looks cut/embossed.


You can use the outer die as a solid heart.
Also the fall out pieces are handy.


I've used the insert die to emboss only a white square card front.


I then selected some scrap patterned paper, cut and retained the fall out pieces.


Selected a few of them and overlayed them onto the design.


Die cut the sentiment from silver foil card and added a few gemstones to finish.


Ideal for Valentine's Day and for general cards too.



Hello Geo Heart is reminiscent of the recent Geo dies featured on 
Create and Craft and I really enjoyed designing with those.

    Love the card, very fresh looking and another great way to use scraps. Bella's picture on Facebook brought a smile to my face, that's just what my dog used to do.

    I love the card, these dies are so different, but I don;t think I'll buy any as in my humble view they have a limited use.

    Hi, Christine,
    WOW! What a fantastic card! I'm such a wuss I've still not plucked up courage to use any of my dies just for embossing. I can seem to get my head around the fact that it's not going to cut the card lol. I love the paper piecing and not using all the pieces gives the card an unusual finish.I know what I'm going to try out over the weekend now, especially as it looks like it's going to be a wet one. I really must think about getting this die as well, it's super cool.

    Hi Christine I recently bought one of the geo dies and found it quite interesting to use with piecing the bits back in. Quite therapeutic. But I haven't tried embossing it in this way so I must give it a go. Best wishes Jackie x
