Hello friends
Fridays come around quickly but then again so do Mondays!
This week's Friday Die Day is Labels 50 Decorative Element.
I'll be totally honest, I had not realised how much detail is in this die set,
the largest shape has faux stitching around the edge, the leaf detail is
beautiful on the next two dies and the smallest
die has gorgeous embossed detail.
The die set has four dies in total.
The approximate measurements are:
1: 1.15 x 1.15 in
2: 2.25 x 2.25 in
3: 3.50 x 3.50 in
4: 4.15 x 4.15 in
This is how they look cut/embossed.
For my card I selected a white card base, chocolate brown cardstock,
striped pink paper (Lawn Fawn).
Matted using 5 x 7 Matting Basics.
Positioned and affixed flat the leaf detailed die cut centrally onto the card front.
I then chose to add die cut #2 for the middle as it nests perfectly.
Typed and die cut sentiment and two tiny flowers and leaves (Homespun set).
Note the tiny flowers are not mini poinsettias!
I should mention the mini poinsettias I use often (!) are from a
Spellbinders set called 5x7 Holly Frame.
Labels 50 Decorative Element complements Labels 50 too.
so nice to have sets that work well together.
I dodged the rain to get these photos outside the cabin,
it hasn't stopped for days!
I hope you have nice plans for the weekend, I will be back in my cabin
crafting and getting ready for the trade show in Birmingham later this month.
I'm also putting the final touches to this month's charity kit -
that will be announced here on Sunday so please stop by then.
Take care friends.
