Victorian Sapphire Hearts

Hello friends

With Valentine's Day being tomorrow I've saved this card to share with you.
It features a heart from the Victorian Sapphire range.
I used watercolour card with distress ink and water for the background.
It creates a subtle wash effect and I really should do it more!

I printed onto a vellum strip the sentiment and attached this over the
die cut heart.  Added a few little hearts and gemstones.

A card that works well for Valentine's and also for Anniversaries.
This is one of my cards in my Etsy shop too :)

Back in my cabin today, just a few days left for me to prepare for
demos at the trade show at the NEC starting Sunday.
My little bear Stanley is coming away with me in the hope I
may be able to complete another leg!

Take care friends, wishing you all a great start to your week.

  7. Very pretty card Christine. Don't do Valentine cards myself but it is my daughter's birthday so she usually gets 'hearty' cards !
