Holly and Berries

Hello friends

Thank you for the wonderful support for the Charity Kit yesterday.
It was a sell out within the day!
Cannot ask for better than that so thank you again.

Today back to festive (I'm all Christmassy having put the tree up but
have to confess didn't get around to making my cake!)

My card features the Spellbinders 3D stamp Holly and Berries.
I started by stamping my sentiment first - that way I could
space out the Holly and Berries stamp - I deliberately stamped
off the card front.  Using Chameleon pens I just lightly
coloured the leaves and berries, sort of a watercolour effect...sort of!

Matted onto brown cardstock and white card base - job done!

Holly and Berries is available from your Spellbinders retailer,
anyone still making Christmas cards or are you all super organised and finished?

Today I'm back in the cabin preparing for some more shows
on Create and Craft and then back to a bit more painting...
turns out the attic room needs three coats - tsk!

Take care friends.

  5. Morning Christine, Well done with the charity kit.
I adore this 3D stamp and I adore your card.
I'm still ploughing away with Christmas cards, I'm fed up now haha but I'm using the excuse that I haven't been well for a week, I haven't got the patience because I'm coughing so hard that I can't sleep, last night I used two pillows and tried to sleep virtually sitting up, it worked too, so maybe today I will be more productive with my cards, hopefully hahaha.
    Enjoy your day.
Lots of love from Patricia xx

  7. Hi Christine,
Love the card! You've coloured it so well, it's brilliant! I got my order of a couple of the 3D stamps and I love them. I think I'll get the holly and berries for next year as, thankfully, I've now finished my cards for this year. I think that eventually I'll end up getting the entire range of 3D stamps bit by bit as they are such a wonderful invention.
Congratulations on selling out the craft kit in a day...thank goodness my email program is behaving and delivering the mails on the day they're sent or I may have missed out this month. It's always such a disappointment to miss out on the kits when they are so popular. It's fantastic that we're able to help you with the charity each month :).
