Feathers!

Hello friends

I'm still on trend with feathers!
To make a change I've made a masculine card today,
I rarely do this as I'm totally hooked on pretty things!

A card using one of the new Contour steel rule die set
I've cut two from different card stock and using my Tool n' One added
some score marks.
Attached with a button and twine. Simples!

The stamped sentiment is one of my favourite well used sets -
Scripty Sayings by Lawn Fawn.

Delighted to say Elliott is going to be stocking Lawn Fawn
on the website - both stamps and papers.
It's all on order and winging its way from Southern California.
There's also going to be Winter Scripty Sayings...can't wait!

Keep an eye on his blog for news of Lawn Fawn's arrival.
Take care friends.

  6. Good morning Christine
Brilliant male card today. I would never had thought to use feathers for a masculine card but they work so well. reminds me a little of Native Americans that you used to see in old westerns. You know the ones who wore bowler hats with feathers in the tape around the brim.
Can't wait for the Lawn Fawn stamps and papers, exciting times.
Hope your weekend in the North West is going well.
    Take care

  12. Hi Christine, This is gorgeous, I love, love, love, the background paper, it would be ideal for my hubby and his Brother, who are both 'steam train enthusiasts'. I adore the Lawn Fawn scripty sayings, I have the first one, but loving the festive ones too.
Lots of love from Patricia xx

  14. Hi Christine. I have a feather die, still unused as I've not known how to use it but this is a great card. Thanks.
I'll just be looking for a while as I have a shoulder operation tomorrow and if I find I can type with my left hand I'll be participating as well.

  15. Hi Christine,
What a fantastic 'man' card. I'm useless at making them and really think I should try to do a few more as for my brother-in-law's birthday my sis and I had to go through all of my card stash before we could find one that would suit lol. Oh well done to Elliott for getting some Lawn Fawn supplies. I love them but it seems the ones you like the most always have to be shipped from the US, making them twice as expensive as they should be. I'll be looking out for some sentiment stamps as they look great. At this rate Elliott will have to give me some frequent buyer mailes lol.
