Catch up...

Hello friends

Catching up with things.
I returned home from my very busy demoing weekend firstly in Oldham
and then in Childer Thornton, Cheshire.

It does make me smile when I venture north, I love the difference
in our accents and sayings - I think I may adopt "fancy a brew"!

Glad you all liked the Feathers card.
Totally agree that finding designs for masculine cards is difficult.
The papers I used featuring the steam train are My Mind's Eye - Breeze.

It's a 6 x 6 paper stack and is available here.
I like My Mind's Eye as the papers are double sided and the images
in the 6 x 6 pads are smaller so perfect for card making.

I was looking in my diary and it's a year ago that I moved into my
crafting cabin - goodness that time has just flown by.
I'm sort of wishing it looked this empty right now, it would mean I could have
a good sort out!
 More items going in...
 The finished cabin.
Have to say it isn't quite this tidy now!

Yes I think I definitely need to have a clean and sort out...
maybe in Spring!

Back soon with crafty projects - I'm making them but really must
photograph more!

Take care friends.

  4. Good morning Christine
Glad to hear you had a good time up North and got used to our sayings. When you say something all the time you sometimes find it difficult to understand why others find it strange. When I was at University the mix of people from different parts of the UK and Ireland meant I picked up sayings from all over the country which my family back home thought were very strange.
Your cabin is lovely and something I would love to have. Mu hubby has offered to clear a space in the garden shed but it is not the same.
    Have a good day

  7. Good Morning Christine!
I was hoping to see the NOW picture !lol
It has gone so quickly doesn't seem a year that you moved in!
So many sayings for such a small island, hard not to pick up different ones!
My daughter in OZ says ' heaps ' of things..... instead of ' lots' that we say....... strange to hear her talk with an accent!
    Take care

  8. Morning Christine when I first moved to HO of the company I worked for my area was Scotland Ireland Wales and the Midlands. You can imagine how many accents and idioms I had to get used to! Probably why accents don't faze me nowadays. Have a good day Jackie x

  9. Morning Christine, I, too, was looking forward to the 'now' picture of your cabin haha, I have to say how very organised and beautiful your cabin looks on these piccies.
So glad you had a good weekend with your demo's, I bet you are shattered now. It is amazing how different areas have their own dialect and 'sayings', hope you enjoyed your trip 'up North' although bet you noticed the change in weather haha, we seem to get the rain more so than other places haha (or it just seems that way to me).
Lots of love from Patricia xx

I've been catching up on your blog and looking at all your makes which are lovely. I especially love your Christmas cones for the table covered in flowers. They are stunning.
Sandra told me your Mum had been ill, please give her my regards. I'm sorry I missed you last week at Emerald Crafts, but my sister in law was away that week.

So the spread actually is your main cost of trading the Foreign exchange as well as you must pay attention to the details of what the different brokers supply. The spreads supplied could differ very significantly from broker to broker.
